Salome Ujarmeli, First Birthday 2009 - Year of Joy

It is May 6th, 2009 and I am one! One year of Joy

Thinking back and looking at world, here is some of the events that happened within the year:

• Gas Prices went down and averaging $2.29 Nationwide, so did Global Economy, what difference does it make when people are loosing homes

• Banks are charging crazy fees, especially wild are Credit Card Companies

• Russia kept it's "promise” and declared War on Georgia, entered into territories of Georgia. Today it has Abkhazia and Samachablo ( so called South Ossetia ) under control, that’s about 20% of Georgian Land

• US Troops are in Iraq and there is end in sight, yet there is another problem for troops Afghanistan. Did I mention that US troops are also in Afghanistan since 2001?

• Georgia sticks with it’s plan to become a NATO member, part of Georgian opposition is fighting Georgian President Mikhael Saakashvili and demanding his resignation. When you loose a war, there is normally only one outcome, leaders loose their popularity.

• Obama won, yet to see if USA will win long term, yet to so if American people will win long term. We are hopeful

• I am planning my first trip to Georgia; I will be baptized in August, excited to see my Grandparents and my Country

Sometimes even I have to give serious looks:))

Spring Arrived, I can play in my Yard!

I love spring, just in 4 days is my 1st Birthday:))
