Now that I am five month young

Gamarjoba World,
now that I am five h young, wanted to share little bit what was going on in the World since I have arrived:

-Unbelievable Gas Prices are lower currently $2.88
-Government tries to save banks, so the banks can save each other and the mortgages that save people from loosing homes
-Russia is having worst financial crisis ever and blames US for it. Typical for Russia to blame somebody else in its own incapacity
-After Five Day War between Russia and Georgia in August, Russian troops only partially withdrew from Georgia, Apkhazeti ( Abkhazia ) and South Ossetia remain under Russian Occupation
-Historical Presidential Elections are almost around the corner

Yet not such perfect World, but there is still hope for better time.

Gamarjoba Salome - Welcome to this World

Gamarjobat, My name is Salome,

my Mom Elena and my Dad Gizo call me Salomeka. I came to the world on St. George's Day celebrated by Georgian Orthodox Church, that's May 6th, 2008
I was named after Grandma Salome as well as after Salome Ujarmeli, Georgian Saint, daughter-in-law of first Christian Georgian King Mirian

My middle name is Kato after my Grandma Katarina, who was truly a wonderful women. Unfortunately I have never met Big Salome and Big Kato, but my parents told me some wonderful stories of their lives.


My Dad says I am his princess and his dream baby girl, my mom Elena says I am everything she wished and dreamed before I was born. Looks like I arrived into the perfect world. Since we talk about the world I have arrived, here is what is going on right now

• Gas Prices are well over $4.00


• People are loosing homes, because Banking crisis hit America


• Russia is trying to take over territories of Georgia, Ukraine like it needs even more


• US Troops are in Iraq and there is no end in sight


• Georgia fights back Russia over Apkhazeti ( Abkhazia ) and over Samachablo (South Ossetia )


• Historical Presidential Elections are taking place in US this year


• Beijing Olympics 2008 are almost around

Not such a perfect World, indeed not, but every Start is a new hope. I am for hope and I am a fulfillment of hopes of my parents. Let's hope and believe for a better World.
